Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged and the warranty has been successfully registered with the manufacturer(if applicable). If you need to return an item for an exchange, send us an email at tanya@hellomom.co.za so that we can arrange for the defective or damaged item to be collected, assessed and exchanged. The manufacturer may decide that the item can be repaired rather than be replaced and this will be decided upon after the assessment has been done by the manufacturer.
For certain brands, please take note of the time periods below within which a warranty must be registered by you, the buyer. Should you the buyer, fail to register the product within these time periods, the product will not be covered by the warranty.
Babybuggz: Please submit warranty form within one month of purchase.
Bebe Confort, Maxi Cosi, Quinny, and Good Baby : Please submit warranty form within 3 months of purchase.
For all other products, there are no warranty forms to be submitted.
In the event of a product being defective or damaged, there will be no additional courier charges for the buyer.
Personally inspect packaging and note any damage on the receiving ticket given to you by the courier company before signing for it. If you have not opened the packages please write the words "unchecked" next to your name. Damaged packaging could indicate damaged goods. Items that are received with shipping damage will be replaced with the same or similar item at no charge if they were insured.
If it is subsequently found that the returned merchandise is not defective or damaged, the customer will be liable for all shipping costs.
Most exchanges are generally completed within 7 to 14 working days.
